I knew it...

...was just a matter of time until he connected the doggie door with a way for him to get himself outside.

And Saturday was the day...he was messing with the door, like usual, and putting toys out on the porch, but before I knew it...

Baby L was GOING......

GOING....

GONE!

What a mess he is! He didn't actually "escape", he really couldn't get any farther than the position he is in in the last picture...but it was entertaining to watch him try! And it made for some great pictures!

In other Baby L news he is walking so much more!!! We are still not calling him a 'walker' because he can't start/stop/turn at will....but, man, he is doing good. Its so much fun to watch him toddling around. He took eight steps in a row this morning! And could have kept going, he didn't loose his balance, he more just startled himself when he realized he was in the middle of the room and walking so he just squatted down and planted his booty on the ground.

He is such an amazing joy. Watching him grow and change each day is such a blessing. I adore watching him learn and figure things out...what a gift God has given us in allowing us to love and care for Baby L.
