Diapers, Bottles, Fusses, and Smiles: Bliss

I could not be happier! Today I turned 25, and I feel like a new life has begun. Living in God's purpose for me is like being born again, into happiness like none I've ever known!
If you haven't noticed, I've been struggling to find time to blog as of late. It has moved WAY down the priority list!!! Baby E has taken the place of all of my other activities, at least for the time being, until we can get him onto a schedule. But, I honestly don't mind; you wouldn't either if this was the sweet face taking up all of your time thoughts:
His arrival on Monday, 5/18/09, brought new life into our home, and instant love into our hearts. Our Home has been taken over by E and all of the stuff that accompanies a little one. Even the dogs have felt the shift in focus around our house, but they are loving it too! Oliver hardly lets E out of his sight.
Steven and I are both relishing our new roles:
New routines and copious amounts of laundry are not all the changes, new worries about the happiness, safety and security of this sweet little life are filling our minds. We're pretty amazed as new parents, who surely don't do everything right that apparently we aren't doing to bad, or else we wouldn't be blessed with expressions like this90% of the time Baby E is awake.
He is pure joy!

We are keeping our hearts open to whatever God has in store for us. If a foster care placement leads to adoption, and it feels right for us and the child, we will follow our Lord in faith and trust Him to grow our family in whateven way he sees fit.
